SWS Fiji Trip Package price does NOT Include:

Connecting flights from Sacramento to Los Angeles, Optional activities and services such as Resort WiFi nominal internet access charges, beverages (except for coffee, tea, soft drink, bottled water ordered with your meal) alcoholic drinks, gratuities, dive rental equipment, dive insurance and travel insurance.  Special Shark Dive Excursion Day to Pacific Harbor, village tour, other local guided excursions difficult to price as the per person cost is dependent on number signing up for the activity or tour and of course any items purchased at the resort that are personal such as souvenirs, etc.  NITROX is coming to VBR soon and may be up and running by the time we arrive! $125 week's package - to be paid at the resort.  It is recommended that you bring cash to convert to Fijian dollars at the airport when we arrive in Nadi. You have the option to pay your resort checkout bill using a credit card; but the resort has to charge you a 5% fee (imposed by the bank and as of the beginning of the year, a Fijian government imposed tax on credit card payments).

SOUTHWEST AIRLINES

Current Air Pacific Airlines SWS group flight schedule:  Departs LAX at 11:30pm late night on Thursday, June 7th and returns to LAX at 1:20pm afternoon on June 16th and June 23rd.

*IMPORTANT AIRLINE CHECKED BAG POLICY NOITCE:   Carry-on and checked bag questions can be answered at  AIR PACIFIC AIRLINES  .  Air Pacific's free checked bag allowance recently reduced to ONE checked 50 lb. bag.  If you need to take a second checked bag along with you, expect to pay $5.00 USD for every 2.2 lbs the second bag weights when you check in, both at LAX AND on your return when checking in at the counter in Nadi, Fiji.  To avoid this hassle and expense, SWS can purchase an Air Pacific "Sport Pack Weight Allowance Voucher" for you at time we ticket the group. The weight allowance vouchers CANNOT be purchased at the check in counter.  The cost is $100 round trip for a second checked bag that weighs up to 50 lbs.    Please notify SWS that you would like to purchase the second checked bag weight allowance voucher and request the additional $100 be added to your Fiji trip package cost.

TRIP CANCELATION POLICY:

If you must cancel, all deposit money is non-refundable unless we are able to fill your vacated space.  If we are able to fill your vacated spot at the full purchase price, SWS will credit your refund to an in-store account minus a per person $200 cancellation fee.  If we are unable to fill your spot on the trip, all money paid toward the trip will be forfeited.

Trip Release of Liability Waiver Requirement:  Every person who reserves a spot on a trip through SWS must have a completed TRIP WAIVER form on file at SWS before being allowed on the trip.  If you do not know the cost of your trip to put in the "amount" space, contact Scuba World Sacramento.  Download, print, fill in the blanks, indicate you have read and understand the waiver by signing and dating the SCUBA WORLD FIJI TRIP WAIVER FORM and fax the completed form "attention Lynn" to SWS at fax number:  916-338-0277. 

NOTE 1:. YOU MUST HAVE A PASSPORT VALID FOR AT LEAST SIX MONTHS BEYOND YOUR RETURN DATE to travel to MEXICO.  U.S. Passport applications, renewal forms and information can be found on line at   PASSPORT HOME 

NOTE 2:  Every diver on this trip is required to have Diver Accident Insurance coverage.  Our destination is to a very remote section of Fiji.  The hyperbaric chamber is located in Suva which is a 4 hour drive from our resort.  Should you require urgent care, it is likely you will be air-evacuated by helicopter from the resort to Suva hospital or, if necessary, to Australia or even back to the US should your medical condition require a higher level of service than Fiji can provide.  The only town in the area is 10 minutes from the resort with limited medical resources at best.  If you do not wish to join Divers Alert Network and purchase their Diver Accident Insurance, proof of another plan you have that covers you for an an out-of- the- country accident including medical flight evacuation costs is acceptable.  Diver's Alert Network Divers Accident Insurance can be purchased on line by clicking this logo link:

NOTE 3:  For peace of mind, SWS strongly recommends you purchase additional trip cancellation/interruption coverage to help defray costs arising from unforeseen events.  No one plans an emergency.  But you can prepare for one.  Carefully read any insurance policy before purchase to make sure it covers your specific needs.   *Scuba World is NOT a seller of insurance. We are giving you information about insurance coverage as a service only. 

NOTE 4: Divers Alert Network in addition to selling Diver Accident Insurance coverage also sells trip cancellation and interruption insurance coverage which is an expanded version of the basic DAN diver accident coverage.  SWS highly recommends purchase of this trip specific additional coverage.  In the event you have to cancel, the additional trip insurance coverage could help you receive reimbursement for non-refundable deposits and costs should you have to cancel or interrupt your trip to come home for reasons not covered under the Diver Accident Insurance Coverage.
